Hi,

Its been a long time since we last met and anything has been handed in.

I hope most of you have been co-ordinating your own final submission as many deadlines have been missed.

Just a note however, that the final submission is be in latest by first week of April otherwise it might be too late.

Also, VSNPCC sec 3 this year would be going to Hanoi this June and we are to arrange a pre-trip course for them. It will be an hour every friday parade from 28th onwards.

More information would be posted shortly but do make your fridays free.

There will also be a meeting on the last week of March so do use the good friday holidays to full use.

Thank You,

NYAA Entry - Service

Date: 11th March, 2008
Venue: MPFSC
Duration: 1.5 hours 1700-1830
People involved: Seth and Jiawei

Today marked our 3rd visit to Brother Paul after more than a month of having not seen him. Both Jiawei and my schedules finally allowed us to make this trip down. When we reached the place, he more mobile than before, being able to move about with greater ease than the last time.

He was quite glad to see us again, but a little apprehensive as well. We learnt that the last time round, a neighbour of his had seemed affronted by the fact that we had expressed displeasure by that neighbour's burning of paper and how it was polluting the air along the narrow corridor. Brother Paul was worried our visit might antagonize his neighbour again. Brother Paul requested that we do not visit him as much in order to placate his neighbour. He informed us that he would go directly to MPFSC every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to read the papers and update the staff on his condition.

During the course of the visit, we learnt more about his past vocation as a sailor, as well as the ship he sailed in, which was a 500tonne ship, where he worked in the engine room. He explained to us in brief the crew of the ship and its functions.

We found out too, that Brother Paul was due to receive new furniture at the end of April and we volunteered our services in transporting and settling the furniture into his flat. We had managed to persuade Brother Paul to let us clean up his flat for him during the next time as well. This next visit of shifting new furniture and cleaning the flat will take place end April, when Brother Paul informs us of the exact date via Seow Hong
